In 2019 we were tasked to create a stylish open plan kitchen diner extension suitable for a modern family lifestyle. The client emphasised the importance of improving the energy and insulation efficiency as well as warning us about the challenging shape and dimensions of the space! They also required a sleek minimalistic look with plenty of light. Taking this into consideration we built the new extension using timber frame which also supported the speed of the build and recessed the RJS into the ceiling void.

The renovation works included the full installation of a brand new kitchen, skylight, new windows and back door, under floor heating, full rewiring, plastering and decoration, tiling and restoration of the original floor boards.We also designed and fitted a small bespoke office under the stairs due to the client needing to work from home as well as creating additional storage space.
